A very clean commuter style bike that would be comfortable on the road or bike paths.  For those of you over 6′ tall, this is a pretty light fast ride.

Well, the staff has been able to dig out from the snow dump, and to make it to The Shack today, so we are open for business from 10am to 6pm as usual.  If you’re getting stir crazy at home and are tired of shoveling driveways, stop by and get 10% off your final bill for anything we have in stock at the store!*   Just mention this post.

Due to the snow and dangerous roads today, we will be closed to the public.  We’re giving you one less reason to risk life and limb, so enjoy your snow day, Colorado!  If you do get out on your bike today, send us a picture to post!  Check back here for our Saturday Feb. 4th status.

Come in to The Bicycle Shack today, Saturday Dec. 14th and get a free tube if you spend $10 or more on purchases or service (a $3.50 value).

Take the bike off the trainer and get out for a ride today – should be in the mid 50s or higher today.  Drop in off the Clear Creek bike path (look for our sign and the gap in the fence).  Hope to see some of you out on your bikes today!

The Bicycle Shack will be closed over the holidays from Dec. 25th through Jan. 9th. We’ll be open again Tuesday Jaunuary 10th. The staff at the Bicycle Shack wishes you a safe and fun holiday, and we look forward to serving you in 2012.

NOTE: We WILL be open right up until 6pm on xmas eve, Saturday Dec. 24th. We will be able to fulfill some orders before we take our break, so if you need something before then, let us know ASAP. Also don’t forget that we now have giftcards (available through our web site or on-site). They can be activated with any amount, have no extra fees, and never expire.

The Bicycle Shack will be closed Thanksgiving day and Black Friday (11/24-25) but will be open again on Saturday 11/26. If you’re thinking ahead for a great gift for family and friends, consider getting a giftcard with us. You can put as much $$ on it as you want, and we’ll even snailmail it to your giftee for you! Giftcards can be used for merchandise (in stock and orderable) and for service, and never expire.

Well, we dont want to admit it, but the days are getting shorter and colder, and fair weather and after work riding might not be  consistent on a day to day basis until Spring.   While we applaud all of our hardcore customers that ride throughout the year, we will be cutting back on our hours until we’re closer to the Spring equinox again.
